Yes I'm pretty good with beating myself...@ Amy. Yes I'm pretty good with beating myself up! I'm going to start a food diary as of tomorrow actually. I'm not really counting cals or anything, I was before but I found it stressful and I was also went over board with restrictions. I get what you're saying about downsizing the emotional eating but in the past I've found it better for me to go cold turkey and stay off that stuff for a few months, that way I can control my portions easier if I do have some. Thanks for the advice :)

@ Rebecca. Are you calorie counting or keeping a food diary? I've found that when I have to write down what I've eaten, errr, it tends to stop me from eating certain things. Can you downsize your emotional eating at all? I've had a few days lately which have been rough and I've fallen off my exercise and eating plan too. BUT, instead of eating a massive bag of chips, I've only bought the smaller one. Still not great, but better than nothing.

Don't beat yourself up too much, you're only human. Maybe build your gym visits up slowly - try walking in the afternoons??

Keep smiling xxAmyhttp://www.amykeeptrying.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
